Our Hotel

The town of San Andres Huayapam (that in Nahuatl means “above the sea”) is located just 12 km away from the city center following the Oaxaca-Tuxtepec Highway. The town has approximately 500 inhabitants dedicated in his majority to the field culture. They produce fruits, vegetables and products owns of the region. It is surrounded by mountains and streams that give the place a particularly pleasant enchantment because of their gorgeous landscapes, tranquility and hospitality of the citizens.

The town is also known because in this town is obtained the “Rosita de cacao”(A small, white and perfumed flower from a three called “Rosital”) which is used to make a exquisite pre-Hispanic non alcoholic drink called “Tejate”

These conditions made us think about sharing these goods of the nature and so we build a small hotel. And so we present you our Hotel “Huayapam Yù’ú “that means, “House above the water”. As a present to Huayapam and its people we made a logo using the “Rosita de cacao”.
